This strain was initially bred by In House Genetics. The name “Terple” fits this strain quite well. The aroma is a bombardment of terpenes smelling of fruit punch and Sunny D. This batch was cultivated by Focus North. This farm has become one of my favorite commercial farms. The heart they put into their cannabis and the organic cultivating techniques really set them apart. This farm first came onto my radar because of their Pot Roast strain, which is another must-try strain.

Don’t let the low THC content fool you, Terple can hold her weight. Typically, craft cannabis with a low THC percentage I need multiple sessions or higher doses to get a solid effect. That’s not the case with this one. Focus North did a great job cultivating these loud genetics. A moderate dose is well suitable for a lazy rainy day in Portland. The high set in calmly within just a few minutes of smoking her. In the beginning Terple provided soothing relaxation while leaving some energy for my body to move and remain functional. She offered a noticeable but balance cerebral effect. This made the strain a great choice for meditation and introspection. The mental fuel lasted for about twenty minutes before settling into a euphoric but relaxed mind. The duration of the high was usually about an hour or less. A big upside to Terple was, she left me clear headed.

If you are looking for a strain with a relaxing body high while offering mental fuel and euphoria, then Terple is your girl. She may be useful for migraines, stress, anxiety, PTSD, chronic pain, and other conditions that are associated with stress such as autoimmune disorders. Although she can offer cerebral effects, she is not ideal for tasks that require higher levels of cognitive processing or excessive amount of physical movement.
