Stuffed Cherry Gelato

Stuffed Cherry Gelato (SCG) is a strain bred by Raw Genetics when they crossed Lemon Cherry Gelato with Stuffed French Toast as the pollen donor. This is a strain I stumbled upon and it immediately became a mainstay in my medicine cabinet over the past year. I have now run these genetics in my last three runs and I continue to enjoy the beauty and effects from this cross. Although, I have come to accept all of her traits, there are a few important things to know before growing this cross out, which I will cover below. If you want to see the cultivation process for SCG it will be featured on the second season of Elephant’s Breath Growery.

How They Compared

In terms of plant structure, the genetics are uniform. All the phenos I have grown out were very vigorous and had a long stretch. This is a strain that requires a minimum of one topping if being cultivated indoors. In terms of flower structure, each site developed into golf ball size flower stacks. The leaves and flowers remain green for the most part but can fade to a dark green with dark purplish hues. Regarding plant preferences, I have grow this cross out in soil using only dry amendments, and other runs I have used the Biobizz line. This was one of the strains that came out better using dry amendments than the Biobizz line. With dry amendments I noticed better trichome production, better smell, and much stronger effects.

I am grateful to have found this strain, its one of the few strains I have come across that I liked enough to stock up on packs of seeds of. Its also rare that I find a strain that I want to grow multiple runs in a row. What keeps my interest with this strain are the medicinal benefits that I yield. I can always count on her at the end of the day to lull me off to sleep. Before cultivating Stuffed Cherry Gelato, it is important to know her one primary drawback, which is her stretch. Its unruly. Having said that though, with the proper conditions in place, this strain could put out some serious weight. Other noteworthy details are, the strain is easy to grow, and its amenable to most stress. Just give her some nutrients, enough water, then sit back and watch the show. The resin production is like woah!
