The smell of Afgoo permeating out of the jar at Oregon’s Finest took me back 15 years to the first time I smelled it. I remember feelings of excitement because the smell tells you everything you need to know on this one. The smell is unique, just as the high is. SoFresh did a great job cultivating this crop. The crisp denseness of each bud as you break it open releases a fresh waft of pine, spice and earth. The smell is intoxicating and the facial expression it evokes is along the lines of the host on a foodie show.

Afgoo provides a complete experience for the user. On the first inhale, the spice and earth undertones provide a solid cedarwood taste. Larger rips of Afgoo were thick and really grabbed my throat on the exhale. The high sets in quick, but gentle. It washed over my body and mind at the same time, leading to a state of deep relaxation. This strain was a great choice as a nighttime strain. It was almost as if this strain was able to gently rock me into a dazed state of deep relaxation. Within fifteen minutes of a session my head got heavy along with my eyes.

Afgoo provided solid medicinal properties for chronic pain, migraines, insomnia, depression, anxiety and alleviating ocular pressure. The strain did a remarkable job of alleviating restlessness and balancing my mind, allowing my worries to float away. It was particularly useful on days when I was in slump or dealing with chronic illness.

I felt that between the smell, taste and high, the strain being closer to landrace genetics really delivered on a unique experience. Afgoo is a strain that everyone needs to experience at some point. She will not disappoint.
